A better future starts right from the inception of a beautiful childhood. Have a glimpse of Paalan's very first drive to Missionaries of Charity- An Orphanage with an aim to enlighten the lives of 24 children who are thought to be doomed by the tint of eternal darkness. Food has been the very first and the most important need of every individual on the planet. Keeping this in mind, we provided an indispensable necessity of life, Wheat Flour, 50kg, to those who are deprived of it.

We would like to convey our sincere gratitude to our donors who were willing to contribute for this noble cause even in this period of adversity. Although, we weren’t allowed to meet the children because of COVID, knowing that they will not go to bed hungry was contending and gratifying enough.

Special thanks and recognition to the members who represented Paalan Foundation with altruistic and compassionate dedication at Missionaries of Charity- Devanshi Soni, Komal Kataria, Mayank Maggoo, Devesh Sharma, Hriday Lumba and Sanjivv S Soni.

Withholding its firm belief to bring a positive change in the lives of the people who suffer at the hands of destiny and help them get a stabilized, loving, and nurturing environment, the volunteers from Paalan paid a visit to the Delhi Council for Child Welfare, Orphanage- Palna.

Carrying on the legacy of the well known quote: "Selfless sacrifices bring the greatest blessings." And being aware of the fact that for anyone and everyone, the foremost necessity is something to eat, we undertook our second drive and tended to provide 50 kilograms of rice to 70 children at Palna.

Our second drive has certainly made us believe even more in the fact that such children deserve living the best life too and even though we cannot change their lives drastically in a sprint, we just made our little contributions to add to that vast sea of possibilities. Thank you to the volunteers who represented Paalan Foundation at Palna Orphanage- Devanshi Soni, Komal Kataria, Mayank Maggoo, Devesh Sharma, Hriday Lumba and Sanjivv S Soni, we couldn't have fulfilled our goals of making their dreams of living a good life into a reality without your constant enthusiasm and zest.

Due to the covid pandemic, the unemployment rates have risen so much that the number of hungry people has added a lot more to the already existing starving population. People are helpless, jobless, not being able to even fulfill the basic necessity of food for themselves and their families. Team Paalan thought of initiating Project Ration to rescue and provide needy people with basics like flour and rice.
