This Winter, Let Everyone Celebrate The Frosty Weather

Project Warmth

As the winter tide arrives , there are some who can't wait to go out and shop some new branded warm attires, following the trend, but on the contrary, there are people hardly having clothes to cover their bodies. With the aim of sharing warmth and care this winter, Paalan Foundation has come up with ‘Project-Warmth’ to make sure that we help each and every person shivering in these chilly winters. Our discarded winter clothes could help someone make it up for this winter season and that's exactly what we believe - This winter, let everyone celebrate the frosty weather.

"Service to help others is the rent you pay for your room here on earth." If you have been thinking that sitting under a warm blanket is the pleasure you seek in these chilly winters, you are kind of wrong. Because making sure that someone else is enjoying the same pleasure of warmth is just the best pleasure we could've ever earned.

The members of Paalan Foundation carried out their third drive based on Project Warmth where we donated around 150 clothes (Jackets, sweaters, blankets, gloves, socks, shirts and pants) to about 100 needy people outside Maa Vaishno Devi Mandir, Gulabi Bagh, Delhi.

The following were the participating volunteers: Devanshi Soni, Komal Kataria, Mayank Maggoo, Devansh Gulati and Sanjivv S Soni. This drive wouldn’t have been successful without the unconditional support of Anmol Saini, Yuvraj Chahar and Hriday Lumba. We would also love to extend a warm thank to all of the donors who have contributed their parts in transforming Project Warmth into another successful endeavor of Paalan.

On an average, around 400 people die each year across our country due to cold waves. Your clothes might get old for you, but your discarded clothes can help someone survive this winter season.

On 22nd of November, 2020, Paalan Foundation came up with another drive based on Project Warmth under which over 150 clothes were distributed to over 100 children at Seelampur Slum Areas.
